He looks much lighter and healthier after losing 150 pounds.

Therefore, viewers have been waiting for his skin removal surgery. Recently, Chris shared the real reason behind delaying his surgery. In episode 3 of Season 4, he asked his wife, Brittany, to measure his waist. He wanted to know how much he would weigh without the extra skin. What’s surprising is that the TLC star’s waist turned out to be 46 inches across the body, which was previously 66.

Chris went on to talk about the challenges of having more skin. He said, “You have all this fat or loose skin running everywhere.” Furthermore, The 1000 Lb Sisters star explained he has to worry about sweat and body odor. Chris jokingly gave the example of a flying squirrel. Brittany laughed and confirmed that her husband was not a flying squirrel.

He also talked about how much he wanted the excess skin removed. Unfortunately, his surgeon, Dr. Eric Smith, was not on board with the plan and felt he needed a plastic surgeon to make sure his weight was stable. Furthermore, he wanted Chris to lose another 50 pounds before considering surgery.
