 Most TLC fans today can’t think of the 90 Day Fiance series without thinking of Tim Malcolm. He went from being a hated actor that everyone loved to make fun of to one of the indispensable cogs in the TLC machine. Tim has become a fan favorite with his witty one-liners and epic comebacks.

Even when Tim Malcolm wasn’t filming his own TLC season, he still became a mainstay during Tell-All tapings  . When he had nothing to do with the actual season, TLC still brought him to tapings to provide commentary and his unique perspective. In that sense, he has become an important member of the franchise and he has really changed things when you compare where he is now to how he started.

90 Day Fiance fans  are used to quirky, funny updates from Tim Malcolm on social media. However, recently he shared some worrying information. Tim’s “great friend,” Marty Hill, a member of the North Carolina rock band Preacher Stone, recently passed away after a battle with brain cancer.

Back on April 13, Tim Malcolm asked many of his 90 Day Fiancé followers to pray because his friend was going through a rough time. Sadly, based on the latest updates from Tim, he took to social media to announce his friend’s passing. Understandably, Tim is devastated by this loss that hits close to home.

Speaking about the passing of his dear friend, Tim Malcolm wrote on social media: “I don’t know what to say…you just can never prepare yourself for someone you love, to love and admiration will leave you. It’s painful and I know a lot of other people are hurting too.”

Along with his touching words, Tim Malcolm also shared a video tribute to his friend and brother. Losing someone you love is always difficult. Tim will have to sit in grief as Marty Hill’s family and friends remember him and process their own grief following his death.
