Emily Bieberly and her husband, Kobe Blaise, are planning their Cameroonian wedding. Although they are already married in America, it is important to his culture that they have a traditional wedding in his country. This will allow his family to accept them as husband and wife.

Having a traditional African wedding means the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After couple must follow the customs and traditions. So, they have to have a dowry ceremony. During that ceremony, her parents had to give his family a list of things they wanted in exchange for their daughter.

The ceremony went well. However, it was now time for Kobe’s family to deliver the goods Emily’s parents requested. These items included traditional clothing, food products, a goat, and a little bit of cash.

Kobe is ready to present all the things that Emily’s parents put on the dowry list. So, he, his father, and his cousin Felix are going to bring everything to her parents. He explains that it is very important that they fulfill the dowry list. He says it’s a “clear sign” that he can take care of their daughter.

The 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After cast member presents the list of items to his wife’s parents. He tells them that they can “cross-check” everything with their list to make sure everything is there and that they were able to fulfill their promise.

Emily’s father, David, takes out his list and says that the number one item on his list is a goat. Kobe tells him that the goat is right behind him. They find it shocking to see the goat lying there. Getting a goat in exchange for their daughter is not something they see happen in America. But they are willing to participate in the tradition for their daughter and son-in-law.
