Several of Kody Brown’s adult children are in long-term relationships, but will any of the Sister Wives stars choose to live in polygamy as their parents did? The series, which premiered in 2010, focused on Kody, his three wives, and their children. During the first season, Kody courted and married his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, and added her three children to his brood. Kody and Robyn had two children of their own, bringing the total to 18.

By the end of Sister Wives season 18, three of Kody’s wives had left him, and he found himself in a monogamous relationship with Robyn. Many of his children had grown into adulthood, and several of them had gotten married. Now that many are married, will any of them follow in their parent’s footsteps by pursuing a path to polygamy?

Madison & Caleb Brush

Madison Is Janelle’s Daughter

At 27 years old, Madison Brush is Kody’s fourth child. Her mother, Janelle Brown, is Kody’s second wife. They have six children together, including Garrison Brown, who died in March by suicide. Madison began as a regular on Sister Wives in 2010 but left for college at Utah State University in 2015. College didn’t work out, and she dropped out. Soon after leaving school, in September 2015, Madison announced her engagement to Caleb Brush, a 34-year-old mine equipment repairman.

The couple got married in Bozeman, Montana, on June 4, 2016. Madison’s sisters, Aspyn Brown and Mykelti Brown were among the bridesmaids, and her younger sister, Truely Brown, was the flower girl. Madison and Caleb’s wedding was featured in an episode of Sister Wives. On May 20, 2017, their son, Axel James Brush, was born. On August 20, 2019, their daughter, Evangalynn Kodi, followed. Madison does not intend to have a polygamous marriage with Caleb.

Logan Is Janelle’s Son

Kody’s oldest son, 28-year-old Logan Brown, married Michelle Petty in October 2023. Logan, Janelle’s oldest child, left Sister Wives in 2014 to attend the University of Nevada, where he earned his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and his master’s in Business Administration. Logan has always made sure to keep his personal life separate from his large polygamous family.

Mykelti & Tony Padron

Mykelti Is Christine’s Daughter

Mykelti Padron met Tony Padron in 2015, and they got serious very quickly. By the summer of 2016, Tony had asked Kody for his daughter’s hand in marriage. Though Mykelti’s mother and Kody’s third wife, Christine Brown, and Kody were reluctant to agree, he gave Tony his blessing to marry his daughter.

​​Mykelti gave birth to Avalon Asa Padron in April 2021. She and Tony welcomed twin boys, Archer Banks Padron and Ace McCord Padron, in November 2022. Sister Wives fans have mixed feelings about Tony. Though Tony was a popular addition to the cast at first, opinions changed after it was revealed he left his career at a bank to become a video game streamer. His career choices may be questionable, but he and Mykelti have no intention of living in a plural family.

Leon Is Meri’s Transgender Son

Leon Brown is Kody’s eldest and only child with his first wife, Meri Brown. Leon and Audrey Kriss got married in a private ceremony in 2022. They are both transgender, with Leon coming out in 2022 and Audrey in 2021.

According to In Touch, Leon and Audrey were married in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in October 2022. The couple did not have a judge or any other officiant to oversee their union. Instead, the ceremony was recorded as being a “self-solemnized” event, which means Leon and Audrey essentially officiated their own wedding without witnesses being required in the room.

Aspyn Is Christine’s Daughter

At 27, Aspyn Brown Thompson is Christine’s oldest child. A few years after first appearing on Sister Wives, Aspyn enrolled at the University Of Nevada in 2013 alongside her older half-brother, Logan. Aspyn studied Human Service with a focus on Marriage and Family Counseling and even joined a sorority during her time at school. Aspyn and Mitchell grew up together and even attended the same church in Utah. They eventually reconnected and were married in June 2018.

After watching their family implode throughout the last few years, it’s no surprise that the Brown children seem to have no intentions of continuing their family’s legacy of polygamy. Even though the children have said they loved growing up with so many brothers and sisters and multiple mother figures, that hey didn’t want to share their spouse with someone else. Though only five of the Sister Wives children are married, the other 13 aren’t any more likely to choose polygamy in the future.

Some of Kody’s adult kids have expressed resentment at having to share Kody with so many people. The father of 18 loves his children, but with so many people needing his time, there simply was never enough of him to go around. Moving forward, Kody’s children are unlikely to want to create a similar life for their children.
